The Earth Commodities Helidon quarry consists of a site of 47 hectares and is located at Helidon, approximately 5 km north-east of the township of Helidon.
The quarry supplies a variety of products that includes boulder rocks, aggregates, road base and crusher dust. The sandstone composition is of hard quality rock, which makes for a robust aggregate for roads and concrete.
The most recent estimates of available material put the volumes at approximately 46,000,000 tonnes.
