The site area is within the Beserker Beds, which have been described as "a complex unit of volcanics and volcaniclastic sediments produces high quality sand for both bedding material and blends for Concrete manufacture.

All Sand is screened, washed and graded to strict Australian Standards.

River Pebbles
In geological terms, the Yaamba Pit is located in alluvial deposits of Quaternary age. These Holocene sediments associated with riverine deposits of the Fitzroy River produce high quality river pebbles varying from 7mm pebbles up to 50mm.

Pool Pebble
All our 3mm product is currently supplied to the swimming pool market in NSW and North Queensland and is used as a pebble finish in concrete pools. There are cheaper alternatives on the market, however they do not compare to the quality of our 2mm Blend. Like the 3mm this grading is highly sort after and predominately used in the swimming pool industry for pools requiring a smoother pebble finish.
